About Dr. Jared Lien
Dr. Jared Lien, L.Ac., DACM, RN, is the founder of Lien On Me Acupuncture in Pacific Beach. He spent 16 years as a registered nurse in cardiac and stroke rehabilitation at Scripps before turning to Chinese medicine full time, and holds a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego.

Every visit begins with a full health history and a physical exam, including a pulse, tongue and abdominal evaluation and any orthopedic tests needed. Dr. Lien practices Japanese meridian therapy, a gentle style that uses very fine needles for near-painless insertion, and draws on acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, Chinese herbs, tui na bodywork and nutrition. His focus spans pain management, sports medicine, digestion, stress and emotional wellness, and fertility.
