Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

KeepCare ("KeepCare", "we", "us") operates a curated marketplace that helps people find preventative and holistic care. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. KeepCare is not a healthcare provider and is not a HIPAA covered entity; we do not collect medical records, symptoms, or diagnoses.

Information we collect

You give us:

  • Waitlist / launch signup: your email address, when you ask to be notified as KeepCare launches or expands. We ask for your consent when you sign up, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Messages you send us: if you email or otherwise contact us, we keep what you choose to send.
  • Recommending a practitioner: if you use our form to recommend a practitioner, we collect your name and email (so we can follow up), the practitioner's name and website, and any note you add. We use it only to review the recommendation and reach out if we have questions.
  • Sharing a practice: if you use a feature to share a practice with someone, the share link may carry an anonymous tag so we can credit the referral. It contains no personal information. If a feature ever asks you to enter someone else's contact details, you confirm you have that person's permission first.

When you book:

  • KeepCare does not take bookings itself. When you choose "Book your visit," we send you to the practice's own website or booking system, and anything you enter there is collected by that practice under its own privacy policy, not ours. We log that a booking link was clicked for a given practice so we can measure interest; that record does not include your name, email, or contact details.

Automatically:

  • Cookieless analytics (Plausible): aggregate page views and on-site events (for example, which goal or condition was clicked). No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles, and no data that identifies you personally.

We deliberately do not collect clinical information (symptoms, history, diagnoses), and our forms never include a free-text symptom field.

How we use it

  • To notify you about launch and send the updates you asked for (waitlist).
  • To respond to messages you send us.
  • To operate, measure, and improve KeepCare (including understanding demand and where care is hard to find) using aggregate, non-identifying analytics.
  • We do not sell or "share" your personal information (as those terms are defined by California law), and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

If you give us a condition category

Some KeepCare features may let you choose a condition category from a fixed list (never a free-text symptom description). If you do, we treat that category as sensitive personal information and use it only to route or improve your request. We never ask for symptoms, diagnoses, or medical history.

Who we share with

  • Service providers that help us operate (for example, our email provider and our database host), under contract and only to provide their service to us.
  • A practice, only if you deliberately send it a message or request through a KeepCare feature that does so. When you book, you go to the practice's own site (above), and KeepCare does not pass your details.
  • Legal reasons (to comply with law or protect rights and safety). We do not otherwise share your data.

If you are a practice listed on KeepCare

We hold publicly available business information about your practice (name, address, hours, services, public reviews, and your public contact details) so we can list you, and a record of our correspondence with you.

If we email you about your listing, the link we send is tagged so we can see whether the page was opened. That tells us whether our outreach is working. It records the visit, not who you are personally.

We do not sell this information or share it with anyone other than the service providers described above.

Email [email protected] to correct your information, ask what we hold, or have your page removed.

How long we keep it

Waitlist and contact records are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or de-identified. You can unsubscribe at any time, or ask us to delete your information sooner (below).

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of their personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information (any condition category you choose to provide is treated as sensitive). We do not sell or "share" personal information. To exercise a right, email [email protected]; we will verify and respond as required by law, and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

How we protect it

Data is stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security and server-only access; the site is served over HTTPS. Access is limited to KeepCare administration. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

KeepCare is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice on the site.
